An original production made bladed glove prop worn by Robert Englund/or his stunt double as Freddy Krueger in “A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master” 1988 New Line Cinema.
 
This leather work glove features an attached rusted & painted metal backplate with hinged fingers and connected resin blades. 1 of the blades is broken at the tip and features paint detailing/dirt and blood. 
Hot glue is present in the tips of the blade fingers on the inside. There is a pen marked L written on the plate along with paint detailing, oxidation and a blood effect.  The leather glove has an aged, distressed and worn look on the edges. 
 
A letter from the family of the original owner who worked on the film is included which states “This glove was used in the filming of nightmare on elm street 4” and that it had been in possession of the family since the end of filming in 1987. His spouse explained he had worked in the mechanical effects department and that they  had never been approached before to sell it making this the first time in 36 years this piece has been offered to collectors.
